Pregnancy Massage Policy – Savique Wellness Hub
At Savique Wellness Hub, we are honored to support expecting parents through the incredible journey of pregnancy. To ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of both our clients and therapists, we have established the following Pregnancy Massage Policy.
Eligibility
Pregnancy massage is available to clients in their second and third trimesters (13+ weeks) only.
First trimester massages are not offered due to the increased risk of complications during early pregnancy.
Clients must be receiving routine prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider.
Medical Clearance
All pregnant clients must complete a Prenatal Intake Form before their appointment.
Depending on your medical history, we may request written clearance from your healthcare provider before proceeding with massage therapy.
Please notify us of any high-risk conditions or complications, including:
Preeclampsia
Gestational diabetes
History of miscarriage or premature labor
Placenta previa
Blood clotting disorders
Session Modifications
Sessions are tailored to your needs and use safe, side-lying or semi-reclined positions for your comfort and safety.
Deep tissue or trigger point therapy will be avoided in certain areas, such as the legs, due to increased risk of blood clots.
Cancellation or Rescheduling
If you experience any new or concerning symptoms before your appointment—such as bleeding, contractions, or decreased fetal movement—please contact your healthcare provider and reschedule your session.
Our regular cancellation policy applies, but fees are waived for cancellations due to pregnancy-related medical concerns with appropriate notice.
Disclaimer
While massage therapy is a wonderful complement to prenatal care, it is not a substitute for medical advice. Always consult your doctor or midwife with any health concerns before receiving massage therapy at Savique Wellness Hub.
